Located on Church Verandah, 982 Moggill Road, Kenmore
We are committed to reducing waste by re-purposing and re-homing clothing, accessories and household items. Items unsuited, or surplus to our needs are donated to Lifeline. We work with individuals and organisations to receive and arrange distribution of donations to people in crisis situations (eg, recent flood events in Brisbane and Northern NSW). We have a strong association with Women’s Refuge (DV support) and pass on appropriate donations to them.
All staff volunteer their time to both the operation of the shop and to be a listening ear for members of the community. Volunteers come from the church and the wider community, and we are thankful for their contributions to this outreach of KUC.
We support Kenmore State High School with an annual donation of $3000. We also support other local, national and international mission opportunities.

Are you in need of a lift after the cold winter? Think about volunteering at the Refreshed Shop- interesting work for worthwhile causes. Friendships to be made with other volunteers and a great chance to get to know customers and help anyone who can do with a listening ear. Volunteers say they always go home with a feeling of achievement and there is always something to do – sorting beautiful items and helping out in pricing and handling stylish clothes.
